All Natural Essential Oil Perfume

The reason I use this essential oil of perfume is to avoid any "fragrance". Also, oils have different positive health effects as well.
The term "fragrance" is an umbrella term which basically means "thousands of carcinogenic chemicals that we do not legally have to tell you about."
It is so important to avoid this as much as possible, especially with beauty products since your skin is your largest organ, and it only takes thirty seconds for chemicals to enter your blood stream. Not to mention spraying perfume makes you inhale these chemicals as well.

When choosing your essential oil brand, it is also important to choose a brand that has "pure therapeutic grade" oils. This basically ensures that your oils are all natural and yield many beneficial results. The three brands that I and many other people trust is Dōterra, Young Living and Sage essential oils.

It is very important to note that you have to be very wary when choosing an essential oil brand since they are not regulated by the FDA. This means that companies can claim that their products are 100% essential oil, or 100% organic, when that is in fact, not true.
A good way to ensure the quality of your oils is to research the companies production method and to ask questions. Companies who have nothing to hide will be completely transparent with you.

What you will need:

  • Distilled or Filtered water
  • Essential oil of your choice
  • Fractioned coconut oil
Directions:
Add the desired amount of water to a glass spray bottle. Start with a few drops of whatever oils you want, and add more to intensify the smell. Add 3-4 drops of fractioned coconut oil and shake before each use.
The coconut oil helps the essential oils stick to your skin and clothes, making the perfume last much longer.
If you live in a warm climate, you can just use regular organic coconut oil, but here in Canada, fractioned is a must since the cold makes coconut oil go hard.

The use of a glass bottle is important in this, since plastic can deteriorate the quality of the oils, and also leach unwanted carcinogenic chemicals into your perfume.

I'd love to hear your input in the comments below what oil blends you use and how you like them!
